ENTE ORGANIZZATORE: A.S.D. G.S. OLANG DI MONTEBELLUNA (TV)  

Art. 1) Eligibility

The following categories are eligible to participate in the race:

-    All registered members of Italian Cycling Federation (hereinafter, FCI) and of Sport Organizations which made an agreement with FCI for year 2016 (ACSI, AICS, ASI, CSAIN, CSEN, CSI, LIBERTAS, UISP, US ACLI)  who are physically fit for cycling at competitive level.
-     Foreign cyclists holding a UCI license, effective for year 2016 and issued by their National Cycling Federation can participate, provided that they deliver the ethical certification written in English and a medical certificate of physical (?) fitness according to template “E” before the competition (??).
-    Cyclists from 17 to 64 years can participate in the long route race; Cyclists who are 65 or older, and registered touring cyclists can ony participate in the short route race
-    Pro cyclists (Professionisti, Elite, Under 23) only under invitation. They must be authorized by their belonging Organisation (written authorization must be delivered to the Board (Jury); they will not be placed in the rank.
-    Women belonging to categories “Donne Elite” and “Donne Under 23” (without number limitation) only under invitation. They must be authorized by their belonging Organisation (written authorization must be delivered to the Board (Jury), provided that there are not (contemporary??) races with reserved access to them in Veneto Region and/or neighbouring Regions; they will not be placed in the rank.
-    Cyclists without annual card issued by FCI or Sport Organizations which made an agreement with FCI for year 2016 can get a daily card with an additional cost of 15 € through the Organizer Secretariat; they must apply for it when registering and shall deliver copy of certificate of physical fitness and subscribe the Ethical Statement. The card regulates the participant’s position, covering her/him with insurance for the day of its use.

Art. 2) Ethical Requirement
By registering, participants declares, by a self-certification, not to have any sports, civil or criminal penalties to his name – pending or already suffered – for doping-related facts, and not to take – or have taken – any of the substances included in the Anti-Doping list issued by the World Antidoping Agency (W.A.D.A.) False declarations will be persecuted by law.

Art. 3) Participation Categories
The following FCI categories have been identified for ranking: 19/29, 30/34, 35/39, 40/44, 45/49, 50/54, 55/59, 60/64, and 65 and older for Masters; 19/29, 30/39, 40 and older for Women.
The Organizer reserves the right to consolidate the categories for organizational reasons, prior approval of the competent Federation Board.

Art. 4) Terms of Registration
The Organizer can decide not to admit regularly registered participants with final decision, and commits itself to reimburse the registration fees that have already been paid. That also counts for incomplete or unreadable registration requests.
Registrations will be open from 01/01/2016 to 23/05/2016 and can be processed following any of the following procedures:
1.    Online registration on the website http://www.mysdam.net/, including payment and transmission of documents included in the procedure;

3.    Registration by fax: send the registration form filled in any parts to fax number +39 0439 1895108 and enclose the copy of bank transfer. The forms are the same as above.
For registration of sport teams it is compulsory to send, in any of the procedures described above, the list of participants signed by the President and all copies of bank transfer. In case one registered cyclist cannot participate, the fee paid will be kept valid for the 2017 edition of Gran Fondo del Centenario only, and only for the cyclist her/himself. Cancellations will be accepted within 25/05/2016 and have to be sent via email to Questo indirizzo email è protetto dagli spambots. Art. 5) Fees and payment modalities
a)    Fees for participants who reside in Italy with valid card as according to  Art.1 of the present Regulations:
- from 01/01/2016 to 29/02/2016: € 35,00
- from 01/03/2016 to 30/04/2016 € 40,00
- from 01/05/2016 to 23/05/2016 € 45,00
b)    Fees for participants who reside abroad: € 60,00 inclusive of daily card.
Fees can only be paid by bank transfer, following the instructions described in the registration form.
Furthermore, it is possible to register on Saturday 28 May 2016 with a fee of € 55,00 at the Registration Office (by “Palamazzalovo”, via Malipiero 125/A, Montebelluna), delivering all the documents requested. However, the Organizer cannot guarantee thay participants registering on 28/05/2016 will receive the race kit. No registration will be accepted on Sunday 29 May 2016.
Registration fee includes:
-    envelope with technical material (front and back race numbers, laces, pins, description of the routes, information on the race, lunch coupon)
-    race kit
-    safety measures along the route
-    medical assistance
-    mechanical assistance at the starting area and specific spots duly indicated along the route (spare parts excluded)
-    refreshments (feed zones??) along the route and after the finish line
-    pasta party.

Art. 6) Convening – Card Check – Delivery of technical envelope and race kit:
Participants shall present themselves at “Palamazzalovo” , via Malipiero, 125/A –Montebelluna on Saturday 28 May  (9:00-19:00) or Sunday 29 May (6:00-7:00).
Individual participants shall show their card and the original copy of bank transfer linked to themselves.
For teams registered by their Company, only a representative of the team shall present him/herself and show the list of participants and the original copy/ies of bank transfer linked to the team.
To facilitate emergency procedures, participants are invited to write an emergency contact (phone number) on the back of their back race number (?).

Art. 7) Grids’ settlement and access to starting area
- from 1 to 100: GUESTS, VIP, SPONSOR, RANKING and Awardee  2015 Edition
- from 101 to 300: women, first 100 subscriber members of “Maglia Nera” racetrack, and participants of 2015 edition, following the order of registration in  2016 edition;
- from 301 to 1.000 subscriber members of “Maglia Nera” racetrack and members G.F. Centenario 2016;
-from 1.001: all other participants.
Participants can have access to the starting area in Corso Mazzini from 7:00 to 07:45; they are  strongly recommended to respect the grids’ settlement, following the directions provided by the Organizer.

Art. 8) Starting – Routes – Timing Check Points
The race will start at 8:00 for everyone.
Two routes are provided for: a long route (142,5 km) and a short one (109,5 km)
The long route will start in Montebelluna (Corso Mazzini) and will go on to Caerano di S. Marco, Maser, Asolo, Castelcucco, Possagno, Cavaso del Tomba, Pederobba, Monte Tomba, Alano di Piave, Fener, Valdobbiadene, Pianezze, Malga Budui Madean, Combai, Miane, Campea, Col San Martino, Colbertaldo, Vidor, Covolo di Piave, Crocetta del Montello, Ciano del Montello, Santa Croce, Nervesa della Battaglia, Dorsale del Montello, Giavera del Montello, Volpago del Montello, S. Maria delle Vittorie, Ciano del Montello, Crocetta del Montello, Biadene di Montebelluna, and will end in Montebelluna (corso Mazzini).
The short route will start in Montebelluna and will go on to Caerano di S. Marco, Maser, Asolo, Castelcucco, Possagno, Cavaso del Tomba, Pederobba, Fener, Valdobbiadene, Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, Combai, Miane, Campea, Col San Martino, Colbertaldo, Vidor, Covolo di Piave, Crocetta del Montello, Ciano del Montello, Santa Croce, Nervesa della Battaglia, Dorsale del Montello, Giavera del Montello, Volpago del Montello, S. Maria delle Vittorie, Ciano del Montello, Crocetta del Montello, Biadene di Montebelluna, and will end in Montebelluna (Corso Mazzini).
Timing checks will be performed at the starting and ending point, and there will be intermediate checks along the route.
Two further timing check points will be provided for the uphill race (in Valdobbiadene and in Pianezze).

Art. 9) Refreshments – Time Gates – Time Limits
Several refreshments areas are foreseen along the route; those areas will be equipped with a system of separated collection of rubbish. All participants are invited to use those areas for throwing their rubbish. Participants who throw away rubbish along the route shall be excluded from the race/final ranking.
A time gate is placed in Valdobbiadene at 11:30 am at the intersection between the long and the short route; riders passing the gate after 11:30 will be redirected on the short route.
Time limits are: 15:30 for long route and 13:00 for short route (arrival time later than those limits is not considered valid for the final ranking).

Art. 10) Race chip regulations and Timing measurement
Official Timer My SDAM (Sport Data Management s.r.l.) is in charge to handle timing service with chip (active transponder) -based technology. Each participant shall either use his/her own chip or rent a daily chip. Please find information and conditions on chip rental and usage in the MySDAM website: www.mysdam.it/info-chip.do
Failure to use the chip will result in exclusion from the race ranking and race time will not be measured.

Art. 11) Cancellation of event
The Gran Fondo will take place regardless weather conditions, except in cases of natural disaster; in this case, the registration fee for the 2016 edition will not be refunded.

Art. 12) Ranking and Awards
Awards will be reserved for the first 10 teams based on the total amount of kms run by their members in both the routes.
Further award-winners:
-    first three male participants  ranked in the long and in the short route
-    first three female participants  ranked in the long and in the short route
-    first three male participants  and first three female participants  in the uphill race
-    first three participants ranked in the Men Categories: Elite Sport (19/29), Master 1 (30/34), Master 2 (35/39), Master 3 (40/44), Master 4 (45/49), Master 5 (50/54), Master 6 (55/59), Master 7 (60/64), Master 8 (65 and older only for Mediofondo/short route)
-    first three participants ranked in the Women’s Categories Elite Women Sport (19/29), Master Women 1 (30/39), Master Women 2 (40 and older) for both routes.
Absolute winners will be awarded in the finish area; all other winners will be awarded in “Palamazzalovo” from 15:00 on.
Winners will be awardeed only if present; awards are not cumulative.

Art. 13) Assistance and support vehicles
During the event there shall be a large number of mechanical and medical support vehicles, both fixed and mobile. It is prohibited to gain assistance from private vehicles, that will lead to race disqualification.
Support vehicles authorized by the Organizing Committee shall be placed in front of the participants to escort them throughout both race routes. Only vehicles with appropriate signage will be authorized (vehicles which open and close the race and the event, jury, race direction, medical and mechanical assistance, and sweep van).

Art. 14) Safety
During the race, members of the Organizer and partners shall be made available at the most dangerous intersections to ensure the riders’ safety.

Art. 15) Road traffic regulations
If authorized by the competent Italian bodies, traffic on public roads can be suspended; details will be provided at the starting area.  The suspension will occur temporarily; participants riding behind the vehicle of end race can continue the route under their personal responsability and shall observe Italian road traffic code.
Homologated helmets are mandatory.
Cyclists who will ride in any of the two routes without being registered and will cause accidents or damages, will be persecuted by law.

Art. 16) Anti-doping Tests
According to current Anti-doping rules provided by F.C.I., any participant can undergo a medical test after his/her arrival in premises properly equipped and provided for by the Organizer.

Art. 17) Complaints
Complaints addressed to the race jury will be accepted within the current terms and regulations set by the Law.

Art. 18) E-Bikes
Use of bicycles fitted with any type of support or aid of an electrical and/or electronic type (E-Bikes) is strictly prohibited.

Art. 19) Federal regulations
For all issues not included in these regulations, F.C.I.  – S.A.N. rules for non professional cyclists competition stay in force.

Art. 20) Terms of participation and Process of personal data
Please refer to the registration form.

Art. 21) Responsibilities
The G.S. Olang and the sponsor parties, although providing all what is necessary to indicate the routes and assist the participants, accept no responsibility for events that occurred before, during and after the event involving participants, partners, and third parties. When registering, each participant declares to be responsible for his/her own actions, to be physically fit, to hold a valid  card issued by the National Cycling Federation, and to have read, agreed on and approved the present regulations.

As far as ethics, complaints, federal regulations and process of personal data are concerned, please refer to art. 16, 17, 19, 20 above.

Art. 23) Circuit
G.F. del Centenario 2016 belongs to the Venetian cycling circuit called “Maglia Nera”. Please check its official website for the regulations.

FINAL WARNINGS: The Organizer reserves its right to modify the current regulations at its convenience in order to improve the organization of the event.
